JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an IT technician with broad competence for Paulinska School, who will be responsible for the school's computers in terms of both software and hardware two days a week. The school currently has about 580 computers for both staff and students. You will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, ticket handling, error reporting, upgrades, inventory, and collection of old computers as well as distribution of new computers each year.

You will be the school's primary contact with the municipality's IT department and with the IT developers at the Education Office. You will participate in the new and further development of IT support and keep yourself updated regarding the systems' development as assigned by the system administrators. You will have direct contact with both teachers and students who seek your help with various inquiries.

The employment scope is 40%, but during shorter periods, you may need to extend your working hours when the operations have larger tasks that need to be handled in a short time.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• good experience in handling Dell computers as this is the municipality's chosen hardware.
• knowledgeable and experienced in managing Intune/Azure as a management system.
• good experience in handling Windows operating systems and Microsoft environments.
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

We see it as an advantage if you have:

• a relevant education for the position.
• experience and knowledge to repair hardware as needed.
• previous experience working as an IT technician in a school.
