The strategic digitalization work of Strängnäs Municipality is coordinated and guided by the IT and Digitalization Department. We aim to manage and develop a suitable IT environment and create conditions for tomorrow's digitalization. The department currently has over 30 employees.

The IT and Digitalization Department consists of the units Strategy and Digital Development, IT Service Desk, and IT Operations and Infrastructure. We are responsible for coordination, governance, and support in the municipality's digitalization efforts, as well as for the development and management of the technical infrastructure and platforms such as the e-service platform. The position will belong to the IT Operations and Infrastructure unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a developer with us, you will play a key role in developing and improving our digital solutions. You will work with municipality-wide platforms and contribute to the development of user-friendly digital solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• In collaboration and close dialogue with the business and partners, create, test, and document e-services. Everything from simple e-services to more advanced e-services with programming logic and integrations.
• Manage and further develop platforms.
• Close collaboration with businesses for improvements to meet the needs of residents and businesses.
• Contribute your expertise in the procurement of new platforms.

We are looking for someone who has a combination of UX skills, technical understanding, engagement, and the drive to translate business requirements into effective digital solutions. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a relevant academic degree or equivalent education/experience that we assess as relevant for the tasks.
• experience in user-friendly and intuitive programming and interface design, User Experience.
• experience in business development related to digitalization.
• competence in IT and process development.
• experience in test management and test execution.
• very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• good documentation skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience in developing and implementing e-services.
• basic understanding of information security.
• experience working in the public sector.
• experience from integrations with Microsoft's environments, such as 365 and Teams, as well as Azure.
• experience working with APIs.
