We are looking for a self-driven IT support technician for an assignment with a municipality in Mälardalen. In this role, you will assist the municipality's employees with IT-related questions and technical support on-site. You will be an important part of the municipality's IT organization and support their 2nd line support in daily operations.

The work involves systematically and service-oriented solving of cases that come in via the municipality's case management system Easit, as well as assisting with troubleshooting and support for end-users. You will work with hardware, software, and networks, and are expected to contribute to a stable and well-functioning IT environment.

Your responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician at the municipality, you will be part of their internal IT organization and work closely with the operations to provide support and service to employees in their daily work. You contribute to ensuring that the municipality's IT environment operates smoothly and stably, and take responsibility for solving problems in an efficient and structured manner.

You will, among other things:

• Perform systematic troubleshooting of user cases and technical issues
• Provide end-user support on-site and via the municipality's case management system Easit
• Manage, follow up, and document incoming cases in a clear and precise manner
• Work with Active Directory (AD) for account management and access
• Contribute with network knowledge and support within infrastructure, server, and database environments
• Ensure that documentation and procedures are kept up-to-date and easily accessible

The work is conducted on-site at the municipality, and you will be an important part of a team that values quality, availability, and good collaboration.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is independent, responsible, and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in IT and service. You enjoy helping others and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and environments.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in similar IT support roles (preferably in public sector)
• Good experience working in a Microsoft environment
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure, servers, networks, and databases
• Experience with case management, preferably in Easit
• Ability to speak and write fluent Swedish
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail in your work
• High social competence and ease in collaborating with different professional groups
