Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own healthcare centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Biomedical Analyst at Gränbystadens Healthcare Center

Your mission

Your work will include sampling from both children and adults, venous and capillary. The work also involves the analysis of patient-related samples and administration concerning the healthcare center's anticoagulated patients. We use the Cosmic journal system and the Flexlab data system. You will work closely with other professionals at the healthcare center and play an active role in the development of the center's operations.

Your competence

We are looking for a licensed BMA. You are meticulous and methodical in your work approach. It is important that you have a high sense of service and want to work with patient contact. Experience in laboratory work, patient contact, student supervision, and venipuncture is an advantage.

You have good social skills and are responsible and precise. You are calm and stable and work well with others. The tasks require that you can work in a team, but also independently. You need to be flexible as one day is never like the other. Furthermore, you have good judgment and are skilled at making the right assessments and priorities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Our operations

Gränbystadens Healthcare Center belongs to the Near Care and Health administration, Region Uppsala. In the rapidly growing area around Gränby Center, we have our new healthcare center. We are 43 employees who together offer most of what is available in primary care, and everyone at the healthcare center works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The operations also include a branch in Rasbo.
