Our Operations

The surgical department is an elective care unit focused on orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology. About 40 people work here. We have twelve care places during the week and close the department on Saturday afternoons. We value a good psychosocial work environment where there should be an open climate and regularly work on improvements in this area. We use the Cosmic journal system.

Teamwork is central in the department, enabling a holistic view of the patient, individualized measures, and promoting patient safety. The team consists of nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, department doctors, and operators in the various diagnoses.

Your Mission

Standard tasks as a nurse in a surgical inpatient department. Teamwork with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and doctors. The goal is for you as a nurse to be able to influence your own, your colleagues', and your patients' journey in the hospital to be as safe, motivating, and stimulating as possible.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse with at least two years of experience in the profession, preferably with experience in surgery and/or orthopedics
• Appreciates a varied job
• Wants to influence and develop the organization
• Is an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment
• Wants to work in a team where the patient is involved in their care and mobilization

We Offer

We offer a permanent position at 100% or part-time by agreement. The position involves night shifts.

As a new employee at the Hospital in Enköping, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career. Your employment begins with participating in KULE, our comprehensive introduction week for new employees, where we offer an interprofessional setup. Here you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professional categories. For newly graduated nurses, we also offer enhanced introduction for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional guidance as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical adjunct. You will also participate in practical training at our KTC (clinical training center), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills.
