Our medical specialties are rehabilitation medicine and neurogeriatrics, focusing on the rehabilitation of significant disabilities in individuals with illness or acquired injuries to the nervous system. We are a department with over 60 employees from various professions. In our department, we have time for our patients, and we can follow them through the entire process. It is with us that patients take the fundamental steps back towards as independent and active a life as possible. The goal is for everyone to return to the lives they had before their injury, to the greatest extent possible.
Your Mission
As a nurse with us, you will work closely in a team with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, and nursing assistants. The organization is now entering a development phase, and we are looking for engaged employees who want to think innovatively and have an interest in developing new working methods. We expect you to participate in the development of the nursing role and the team-based working method. In this development, we work to strengthen the nursing role by collaboratively defining the nurse's function in the rehabilitative process. As a new nurse with us, you will receive 4 weeks of introduction with continuous follow-up and support from a mentoring colleague and your immediate manager. During the introduction, we will go through the parts of the rehabilitation process, the design of the rehabilitation plan based on ICF, and the department's routines. In addition, we will also create an individual plan with you for the areas where you need extra support to feel secure in your role. If you are a newly graduated nurse, you are offered to spend part of your working hours in a clinical development year, read more here.
