We are looking for an experienced systems engineer in hardware-near system development to join a competent team working with advanced electronic warfare systems and countermeasures for combat aircraft. The role entails overall responsibility for the system engineering and design of hardware-near functions and requires high competence in microwave design and RF technology.

You will work closely with software developers, hardware developers, production, and project and product management in ongoing development and customer projects.

• Break down and manage stakeholder and system requirements
• Develop specifications and design and system documentation
• Contribute to system design, system architecture, and overall technical decisions
• Support development and production departments in modifications and maintenance
• Take responsibility for one or more central units within EW systems

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering in technical physics, electronics, or mechatronics
• At least 5-10 years of experience as a systems engineer in a high-tech industry
• Solid competence in microwave design and RF technology
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)

• Experience in hardware design, testing, and environmental qualification
• Experience with systems involving electronics, radar, radio, or embedded systems
• Familiarity with system development involving many stakeholders and interfaces
• Experience from the defense or aerospace industry
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, INCOSE, or DO-254
