About the position
In the role of planner with us, you are an expert support who works closely with management and committees. You provide qualified management support to the administrative director and operational/department managers. You are expected to be able to prepare decision-making materials and process and present cases in the preschool and primary school committee. You will work in processes within the school sector where you independently take responsibility for investigative assignments and gather information that you analyze and compile in writing. As a planner, you are also responsible for structuring incoming, planned, and current matters for the administration's various meeting forums. You will also be involved in the work of continuous improvements of our routines and guidelines with a focus on what concerns our area.
In this position, you will also work to coordinate and plan the work with a suitable local supply for Örebro municipality's preschools and primary schools. Together with a colleague, you will participate in the administration's projects where you will also prepare materials for adapting the premises within preschool and primary school according to forecasts and needs. You work closely with management, economists, and the municipality's Local Supply Department and are the contact person for the operation with property owners and consultants related to local procurement at an operational level.
In this position, you primarily work according to the Education Act, in addition to the legislation that underlies the exercise of authority. You should be a good interpreter of the legislation and be able to guide others on what applies to your area of responsibility. You are expected to work comprehensively, be flexible, and be able to adapt based on the political decisions that entail changes within the Preschool and Primary School Administration if required.

About the workplace
In this position, you will be employed by the Preschool and Primary School Administration, which consists of approximately 40 primary schools, 140 preschools, a Quality Department, and a Monitoring Department. The administration is led by an administrative director together with four operational managers and two department heads. This position is located in the planning unit, which consists of planners as well as two case officer groups, and we serve citizens, management, operations, and politics. We work activity-based in newly renovated premises at Åbylunden 1 in Örnsro.
Within the Preschool and Primary School Administration, approximately 4530 employees work. We meet the young people of Örebro from the first day in preschool to the last day in primary school. Together, we are responsible for contributing to creating equal conditions for the young people of Örebro and laying the foundation for a lifelong learning experience. Qualifications
To thrive in the role of planner with us, you should be flexible and able to work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks and driving your work forward. You are expected to work comprehensively, be flexible, and be able to adapt based on the political decisions and assignments that govern our operations. A prerequisite for success is that you can collaborate with different professions, both within the administration and with other actors. The work requires you to be structured, able to prioritize, and listen to the needs of the operations. Furthermore, you must master the Swedish language at a level that allows you to communicate and document what the operations require without hindrance. Since the position involves work in digital systems, you are also expected to have very good digital competence.

Requirements:
- relevant university degree of at least 180 credits in a field that the employer deems relevant
- several years of experience in investigative work
- experience in driving processes and development work
- experience in working in operational systems, such as W3D3 or similar
Meritorious:
- experience in economics and forecasting work
- experience in analysis and follow-up work
- experience in public operations, preferably within preschool and school
