Teaching Assistant in Hydrogeology and Contaminated Land

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a teaching assistant may include teaching, participation in research, or administration.

The responsibilities for this position include:

• Instructing and assisting in exercises and fieldwork related to hydrogeology and contaminated land

Eligibility

Eligible for employment as a teaching assistant is someone who is admitted to education at the undergraduate or graduate level at the faculty (or a related subject for the joint institutions). A degree must not have been obtained.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

• You must be admitted to a master's program in geology or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant
• You must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• You must have completed courses in hydrogeology corresponding to at least 15 credits at the advanced level

Desirable qualifications for the position include:

• experience in field and laboratory work
• independence and ability to collaborate in the field and laboratories
• driver's license is an advantage

Other

The position is temporary for one month with a desired start from 2026-03-01 to 2026-03-31, or with a start date as soon as agreed thereafter and involves a workload of 30%. Regulations regarding educational employment as a teaching assistant can be found in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), Chapter 5, Sections 8-12.
