The Swedish Courts Administration employs around 400 staff to develop and support the Swedish courts, with the main office located centrally in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. Our operations are characterized by trust-based leadership and active employee participation. We strive for a gender-equal workplace and offer interesting tasks in a pleasant and modern environment. We also offer the possibility of remote work.
At the Swedish Courts Administration, you have the opportunity to create real societal benefit through work at the heart of democracy and contribute to an open, fair, and accessible court system.
About the role
We are looking for someone who wants to help develop and manage the Swedish courts' website, a digital platform with millions of visits each year that plays a central role in the interaction with the courts.
You will be part of a modern communications department where we combine drive, competence, and curiosity. For several years, we have worked purposefully to strengthen collaboration, both within the department and together with the rest of the organization. As digital development progresses, we have built up working methods and competencies that allow us to work smarter and tackle increasingly complex challenges. You will step into a professional and energetic environment where your work truly makes a difference, both for the users of our services and for society at large.
Responsibilities
- Transform the organization's needs into structured requirements and participate in the development, testing, quality assurance, and management of the website's functions and e-services.

- Plan and conduct training sessions and webinars, as well as develop educational user support, such as e-learning, guides, and instructions.
- Analyze user behaviors and web statistics to identify areas for improvement and suggest actions.
- Actively contribute to an agile working method and the team's collective development.
We are looking for someone who has
- A university degree in communication and at least three years of experience participating in or leading web projects.
- Experience working in Optimizely or other established CMS tools, as well as a very good technical understanding of web development.
- Very good knowledge of information structure, usability, and accessibility according to WCAG, as well as knowledge in UX design, service design, and working with user testing.
- Experience working in agile teams and a good understanding of agile working methods and practices.
- Experience in specifying technical solutions and following up on deliveries in collaboration with the development team.
- Experience with metadata, taxonomies, SEO, and web analytics, such as with Matomo or Google Analytics.
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
It is a merit if you have
- Experience working in the public sector or another complex organization.
- Experience with AI-driven features, such as smart search functions or chatbots.
- Experience producing e-learning and digital training, for example in Storyline.
Personal qualities
We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are analytical, structured, and curious with good problem-solving skills. You easily absorb new knowledge, stay updated on developments in the world, and have a genuine interest in new technology and development trends. You are communicative and pedagogical, comfortable speaking in front of groups and explaining complex issues in a simple way. You thrive in collaboration with others, enjoy building networks and relationships, and are service-oriented with a focus on the organization's needs.
