Your New Job

We are looking for an operations coordinator who wants to coordinate, drive, and develop the work of the city planning office.

As an operations coordinator with us, you will play a crucial role in driving development and creating structure in areas such as sustainability, preparedness, and quality. You will also be responsible for following up on political assignments and providing input for budgets, audits, and strategic decisions.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the administration's work with sustainability programs and quality initiatives.
• Act as the preparedness coordinator and be responsible for the continuity planning of the operations.
• Prepare documentation for budgets, audits, and benchmarking.
• Coordinate political assignments and follow up on decisions from the board and municipal council.

The position is new, so you will have some opportunity to influence the content of the role based on needs and your experience.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant university degree or other education/work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Experience in leading and coordinating projects and various assignments.
• At least five years of experience in work relevant to the position.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in both politically governed organizations and the private sector.
• Good knowledge of M365.
• Knowledge and experience in leading workshops and mapping processes.

Your personal qualities are important. We are looking for someone who is responsible and proactive. You have a good ability to drive your own work forward, a structured approach, and plan and organize tasks so they are completed on time. You collaborate well with others and are skilled at building and maintaining relationships. The office works on many assignments, and it is important to have a good overall perspective and enjoy having many points of contact. In this role, you also need to be clear in your communication and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Welcome to Us

The city planning office is one of the smallest departments in the municipality with about 110 employees. Organizationally, you will belong to the city planning office's staff and work closely with the staff and management.

Our workplace is centrally located in the municipal building Hoven, near Juneporten, with good transport links.

Good to Know

The recruitment refers to a permanent position starting by agreement.

Selection and interviews will be conducted after the application period ends. The first round of interviews is planned to be conducted via Teams in week 9. Personality and capacity tests will be used as a complement in the selection process.
