We work on around 100 projects in 16 countries and operate about 50 stores under Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden, Norway, and online.

Description

As a program coordinator, you report to the department manager and are part of the centrally employed team at the Program Department Sweden. Your main task is to develop, coordinate, and evaluate Erikshjälpen’s work in Sweden together with the team and local staff based on strategy with vision, goals, guidelines, and routines for the work.

Responsibilities:

Examples of responsibilities:

  • National project leader for the Dream Project Parent Power. As project leader, you follow up and report on nationally set goals, coordinate national initiatives & events, contribute to communication efforts, and organize meetings for locally employed staff to exchange experiences.
  • Be part of Erikshjälpen’s advocacy and influence team with special responsibility to follow and drive processes related to the work in Sweden. As part of the group, you keep updated on relevant issues and represent Erikshjälpen in meetings, seminars, and gatherings as needed.
  • Participate in the department’s overall work such as writing texts, collecting data and information as a basis for reports, working on quality improvements for local operations, writing applications for long-term funding.
  • Represent Erikshjälpen in relevant networks and forums where it may also be relevant to present our operations.
  • Other administrative tasks will be added to the work.
  • Travel in the service is regularly occurring. Sometimes these also include overnight stays.

Who are we looking for?

As a person, you are a relationship builder with good collaboration skills who can also take your own initiative. You thrive in a representative role where you are an ambassador for Erikshjälpen, are structured, and independently drive the work to develop our operations and strengthen our position as a child rights organization in Sweden.

You have:

  • relevant post-secondary education in areas such as health, education, social work, human rights, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant
  • experience working in or collaborating with public authorities and the non-profit sector on social challenges
  • high communicative ability where you are comfortable communicating in both speech and writing.
  • experience working with and knowledge of child rights issues and rights-based work

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience from the non-profit sector
  • experience in social work with people in vulnerable life situations
  • knowledge of Erikshjälpen and its future workshops

Conditions

Employment type: Fixed-term employment - Temporary position for 12 months

Extent: 100%

Start date: Desired from April 20 or by agreement.

Location: Head office, Huskvarna or by agreement
