We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach grades 1-6.

In your role as a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving the teaching together with a teaching colleague. You will share the class teacher role and teaching responsibility in a 3-4 class.

The teaching is designed based on the goals of the curriculum, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations for the students and adapt the teaching based on all students' levels, your assessment of each individual student, and with a focus on the best interests of the student. You work for an accessible school environment where alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. You should have an interest in developing the learning environment for the school's students.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, stimulating students to learn and take responsibility for their own learning. You have good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You are confident in addressing students in various challenges. You easily build relationships and are comfortable collaborating with students, guardians, and staff at the school.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers, as well as having the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work, and together with colleagues, you drive development work and take joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development. You will be part of one of the school's working teams for collaboration and support.

As the school is based on a Christian value foundation, we would like you to have a Christian faith and share the school's values. The position includes responsibility for the school's value foundation classes F-9 with confessional elements.
