As a special educator or special teacher, you are a key person in the school's development. You support both students, educators, and teams by identifying needs, planning interventions, and suggesting strategies that strengthen teaching. With your expertise, you contribute to ensuring that every student has the right conditions to grow – both academically and as an individual.

YOUR ROLE

You work closely with both students and colleagues to create a learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. You conduct investigations and analyses to identify needs and plan interventions that strengthen students' development. Together with the school's staff, you develop and follow up on action plans and provide advice and guidance to teams and individual educators. By suggesting methods, tools, and working methods that meet different needs, you become a central resource in the school's work on inclusion, equity, and compensatory measures – always with the student's best interests in focus.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who has a special education degree and teaching certification, or someone who is a qualified special teacher. Even if you are in the final stages of your special education or special teacher training, you are warmly welcome to submit an application.

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English and thrive in a role where collaboration and relationship-building are central. To succeed, you need to be self-driven, solution-oriented, and see opportunities in each student's individual development.

To work within Education and labor market activities, you are required to provide an extract from the criminal record. You will order the extract for school and childcare from the Police (https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/)). It is valid for one year and must then be renewed.

• Burträsks principal area: Special educator with placement at Björnåkersskolan (grades 7–9). The position also includes work with and at Bygdsiljumsskolan and Skråmträskskolan.
• Sörböleskolan's principal area: Special teacher or special educator F-6
• Tuböleskolan: Special teacher with a focus on IF
