YOUR ROLE

As a leisure teacher, you plan, lead, and develop the educational work based on the school's governing documents. Your task is to create learning environments that encourage interaction, curiosity, and creativity – where students have the chance to try, discover, and learn through both play and activities.

You collaborate closely with other educators, and together you shape a whole that benefits each student's development, both in school and during leisure time. The role also involves contributing to building relationships with students and guardians, and together creating the best conditions for the children's everyday life.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a teaching license focused on leisure education. If you are nearing the end of your education and waiting for your license, you are also welcome to apply.

To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to create engagement and safety. You are clear and attentive in your communication and can switch between leading larger groups, smaller groups, and individual students. The balance between structure and creativity is something you thrive in, and you see diversity and differences as a strength in the operation.

To work within Education and labor market activities, you are required to provide an extract from the criminal record. You can order the extract for school and childcare from the Police (https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/)). It is valid for one year and must then be renewed.
