Östra Ersbodaskolan is a small dynamic school with preschool class up to and including grade 3, as well as an adapted primary school focused on subject areas.

Here, competent staff and students from many different cultures work together. There are good opportunities for outdoor activities. The library, art, soccer field, and illuminated trails are located right next to the school. The school is situated in the residential area of Östra Ersboda, where many cultures and nationalities are represented. Students continue to Ersängsskolan in grade 4.

Employment Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-03-02.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work as a teacher in the preschool class as well as in the after-school program. You are responsible for leading instruction based on the curriculum, which includes planning, implementation, evaluation, analysis, and development of teaching.

You will be part of a work team, so it is important to be able to collaborate and lead colleagues with other professional roles in the educational work.

Based on the curriculum, you will work with children in groups while ensuring that each child receives challenges and support according to their needs. You will also be responsible for documenting the children's development and learning. The work involves daily communication with guardians about the children's everyday life in the program and their development, as well as any challenges.

As part of the position, you will also be with the children during after-school and recess, where you contribute to a safe and stimulating environment.

About You

As a person, you are engaged, flexible, positive, and solution-focused. You can lead colleagues and drive development work. In your work, you lead children and child groups, spark curiosity, and easily create relationships and collaborate with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Qualified preschool teacher, you have/applied for a teaching license
• Experience with students whose first language is not Swedish
• Experience working with preschool class children
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
