Marieberg School is a F–6 school with approximately 330 students.

Employment Information

The position is a permanent, full-time employment starting on 2026-03-09.

Your Responsibilities

Your task as a leisure teacher is to offer a meaningful leisure time where you start from the students' needs, interests, and initiatives but also inspire new discoveries. Together with your colleagues, you will provide students with a variety of methods, forms of expression, and learning environments where care and learning are integrated. You collaborate with educators in preschool and school to contribute to the students' achievement of goals. Contact and cooperation with guardians are an important part of the work.

About You

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who can connect with students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to participate and make their own suggestions.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Certified teacher/applied for teacher certification with authorization to teach in leisure homes
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience working with children and young people
• Experience working in leisure homes
