Artediskolan 7-9 is a school with about 200 students in central Nordmaling. Together with trained colleagues, we work to create the best conditions for students' learning.

Artediskolan 7-9 is a three-parallel upper secondary school with facilities well adapted for teaching. The school is located near sports facilities, community gathering places, libraries, and nature. The school has a well-developed collaboration with the business community in Nordmaling and other partners.

The Role and Responsibilities

In your role as a subject teacher in English, you will, in collaboration with other staff, be responsible for and develop the pedagogical learning. Therefore, we want you to be a driving and inspiring team player who can see how small changes can lead to the development of teaching in upper secondary school. We have suitable facilities in the school outside and inside classrooms, as well as access to a swimming pool, sports hall, and beautiful forest areas.

With us, you will:

• Plan and lead teaching in English. There are subject colleagues to collaborate with in English.
• Work on continuously following up and assessing students' knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to promote students' development.
• Mentorship may also be included in the assignment.

Your Profile

We see that you have a primary school teacher degree for teaching English with qualifications up to grade 9.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and youth of different ages.

We are looking for someone who has a relational approach to their students and a genuine interest in students' learning. You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure, and you have good communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You take responsibility and are independent in your work, flexible, and have an interest in developing the team's collective work.
