Hörnefors Centralskola is a F–9 school with approximately 400 students.

The school is beautifully located by the edge of the forest and a stone's throw from the sea. Here, there is access to a swimming hall, artificial turf field, and ski trails. The pedagogical work is characterized by conscious leadership, engagement, and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and after-school care. The focus is on safety and learning.

Your Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher in after-school care is to offer a meaningful leisure time where you start from the students' needs, interests, and initiatives while also inspiring new discoveries. Together with your colleagues, you provide students with a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments where care and learning are integrated. You collaborate with educators in preschool and school to contribute to the students' achievement of goals. Contact and collaboration with guardians is an important part of the work.

About You

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who can connect with the students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to participate and make their own suggestions. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues and external parties. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher in after-school care
• Teacher certification/applied for teacher certification
• Experience working in a school
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
