We are looking for a study and career counselor for a temporary position during parental leave. The position is part-time at 25%, but there is an opportunity to combine the role with an administrator (55%) for a total working percentage of 80%.

We want you to be independent and value collaboration with colleagues. Previous experience as a study and career counselor, good communication skills, structured, meticulous, and service-oriented are advantageous for selection. Experience in administrative work is a plus if you wish to combine the positions.

Workplace Description

The Language School is an independent preschool and primary school located in Olofsdal, Umeå, and operates as an economic association.

The primary school has approximately 220 students, and the preschool has about 120 children. Around 70 employees work here, and our focus is on language and communication, providing children with a high-quality education in a creative environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a study and career counselor, you will work to inform and guide our students regarding future studies and career choices, collaborate with teachers, students, and guardians, and participate in the planning and implementation of PRAO.

Qualifications

Education and experience as a study and career counselor

Good communication skills

Structured, meticulous, and service-oriented

Preferred: experience in administrative work (for combined position)

Employment scope: Part-time 25%
