We are looking for preschool teachers for Yttersjö.

Preschool Sjöstjärnan started its operations in January 2025 in the former premises of the parent cooperative Solgläntan. The preschool has 30 children distributed across 2 departments with age-appropriate groups and is located near the shore of Bjännsjön, forest, and land in Yttersjö.

Employment Information

The position is a full-time temporary position, starting as soon as possible, by agreement until 2026-06-28.

Your Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for leading the teaching based on the curriculum. This means you are responsible for planning, implementation, evaluation, analysis, and development of the teaching. You are part of a work team, so it is important to be able to collaborate and lead colleagues with other professional roles in the educational work.

Based on the curriculum, you work with children in groups while ensuring that each child receives challenges and support according to their needs. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documenting the children's development and learning. You have daily communication with guardians about how the children have been during the day, as well as about their development and any challenges.

About You

As a person, you are engaged, flexible, positive, and solution-focused. You can lead colleagues and drive development work. In your work, you lead children and child groups, spark curiosity, and find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Preschool teacher certification/applied for certification
• Experience working with child groups aged 1-5 years
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience working in preschool
