Teaching Assistant Wanted at Carlslund School

Carlslund School is a new secondary school that opened in the autumn term of 2024 in the Carlslund area.

The municipality's adapted primary school for grades 7-9 is an integrated part of the school. We have approximately 470 students and are located in a nature-friendly environment with outdoor areas that encourage movement. Within the primary school, there are four working teams and about 35 staff members.

Your Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will act as support in teaching situations but also help and support social relationships and breaks. This means you will collaborate with teachers and participate in teaching to challenge and support the student(s) to strengthen their ability to meet future challenges and opportunities.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education, but it is desirable if you have some pedagogical training such as a childcare worker or residential support worker. Experience in sports activities is an advantage. We believe you have the desire to contribute to our students' knowledge, creativity, and social skills. You need to be a clear adult and able to maintain your calm when situations require it.

Due to the law on suitability checks, a police record extract must be presented upon employment.

Special fixed-term employment, part-time 80%, starting as soon as possible, by agreement until 2026-06-10.
