YOUR ROLE

As a substitute with us, you can work in different areas depending on your interests, experience, and availability. You apply in one ad and then choose which areas you want to be considered for.

Preschool:

In preschool, you help create a safe, playful, and educational environment together with regular staff. You are close to the children in their exploration, support them in play and learning, and are a positive, present adult in their daily lives – both indoors and outdoors.

Primary School and After-School Care:

In primary school and after-school care, the assignments vary depending on needs. You may hold lessons according to planning, support individual students or smaller groups, and work with the team in after-school care to create creative, safe, and meaningful activities before and after school.

High School:

As a substitute in high school, you lead instruction when the regular teacher is not present. You follow the planning, maintain structure in the classroom, and contribute to a study environment where students have the opportunity to succeed. The assignments vary in scope and may suit you if you want to work flexibly or develop within the teaching profession.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

Preschool, Primary School, and After-School Care:

We are looking for someone who wants to work with children and youth and contribute to a safe and developing everyday life. Experience from school, preschool, or other work with children is an advantage, as is educational training or ongoing studies – but not a requirement.

The most important thing is that you are a safe and attentive adult who can quickly adapt to new situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to create calm and good relationships in the groups you work with.

High School:

For high school, we are looking for someone who is teacher-trained, studying to become a teacher, or has another educational background. Even if you have less experience but a strong commitment, you are welcome to apply. You are responsible, comfortable interacting with youth, and have an easy time building relationships and collaborating with colleagues. Your ability to meet students in a respectful and professional manner makes you an important resource in our schools.

You must have the ability and physical prerequisites to actively ensure the safety and well-being of the children, through continuous supervision, risk assessment, and quick actions when necessary.

To work in the operations, you will need to order a background check for work in schools or preschools from the Police (https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/)) which you will then present.
