We are now expanding with a position at Vinkelgatan Group Home. Vinkelgatan Group Home is a residence that is partly characterized by an increasingly older target group. The work mainly involves care work and the execution of various health and medical assignments. Some residents are younger and have different demands for activities and social content, which means the residence must be able to accommodate the entire spectrum of housing within LSS. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant at Vinkelgatan's LSS residence, you will work to support citizens in their daily lives.

Your mission is to strengthen the individual's self-determination, security, and participation. The tasks are varied and can range from helping with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and household chores, to supporting social activities and serving as a link to the wider community.

You will work based on the citizens' implementation plan and continuously develop methods and interventions to help them achieve their goals. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the operations.

You will work with the technical and pedagogical aids available and use alternative and augmentative communication as support in your work.

The overarching goal is to keep the citizens' needs at the center and to continuously adapt the support to make it meaningful, always working in the best interest of the citizen.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a vocational degree from the health and care program, child and leisure program, or another equivalent education that the employer assesses as comparable, with at least two years of experience working in a group home. Experience with pedagogical methods within LSS is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical approach, quality awareness, attention to detail, and a commitment to meet the goals and intentions according to the LSS Act. To thrive in your professional role, you should have good self-awareness and a positive attitude. You need to be interested in working with people of all ages and with varying support needs. You should be able to perform heavy lifting and care work. You must be able to take on all health and medical assignments relevant to the operations and be accustomed to working based on delegated tasks.

You have professional maturity, are responsible, and creative. You should have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their conditions. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

OTHER

The position will be filled provided that the necessary political decisions are made and that it is not needed for internal use.
