Since September 1, 2025, we have consolidated our work with youth activities, community life, facilities, and swimming under our new leisure unit – an initiative that strengthens the opportunities for an active, inclusive, and meaningful leisure life for all residents of the municipality. By gathering competencies and resources, we can create stronger support structures, more activities, and better meeting places for both young and adults.

The leisure unit consists of four areas that together form the hub of the municipality's leisure and community life: the youth activity Bénka-dí, leisure and community development, swimming operations, and facility management and maintenance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and committed bowling host with activity responsibility for the bowling hall in Korsavadshallen in Simrishamn. As a bowling host, you play a central role in ensuring that our activities run smoothly and that our guests have an outstanding experience during each visit. The job involves working during the day, evenings, and weekends.

We are looking for someone who values equal treatment and respect towards both colleagues and guests. You are passionate about service and creating memorable experiences. You will be part of the staff group within swimming and bowling and contribute to maintaining high quality and professionalism in everything you do.

The bowling hall is located in the same facility as the municipality's swimming pool and shooting range. This means that you may need to assist with simpler tasks related to swimming operations, primarily at the cash register and reception.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that all activities in the bowling hall maintain the highest possible quality and provide visitors with a one-hundred-percent experience. You have overall operational responsibility for the business and ensure that the hall is always clean, pleasant, and orderly. The job also involves maintaining contact with our game suppliers and handling any simpler technical issues that arise. In addition, you welcome guests, manage bookings, and guide them into the game in a way that makes each visit feel both easy and fun.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for someone with experience in service occupations, preferably with a background in reception and cash handling. It is a merit if you have previously worked in bowling operations or a similar environment.

You need to be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently even when the pace is high. As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and easily adaptable to different working conditions. We also value high social competence, that you easily establish good contact with both guests and colleagues, contribute to a positive reception, and feel comfortable meeting many different types of people.

It is important that you understand what it means to work in a municipal operation and a politically governed organization. This means that you are comfortable working according to common guidelines, values, and clear laws and regulations, while also seeing the value in contributing to a societal mission where quality, equality, and service to residents are in focus. You are confident that the priorities of the operation may sometimes be influenced by political decisions and that collaboration between administration, residents, and community life is an important part of the mission.
