Since 1897, Eslöv Folk High School has been a source of knowledge for the entire community. The school's main organization is a guarantee association that is politically and religiously independent and appoints the school's board. In the pedagogical tradition of folk high schools, there is an openness that for more than a century has attracted people from all backgrounds, experiences, and worldviews.

About you

Your background

You have professional experience relevant to the assignment. You have previously worked with labor market initiatives, in educational activities, or in various types of project work. It is an advantage if you have experience writing different types of applications, such as project applications to ESF, the General Heritage Fund, or similar, where you can use your ability to express yourself clearly and purposefully. It is also advantageous if you have previous teaching experience. You have some form of post-secondary education relevant to the field.

Your background gives you a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities within these areas, and you enjoy driving development forward in collaboration with others. It is an advantage if you have previously worked at a folk high school or in the civil society with similar tasks.

In this recruitment, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Your tasks

As a coordinator for SMF, the Study Motivating Folk High School Course, both in Eslöv and Malmö, you are responsible for planning and coordinating all parts of the course. You act as a link between participants, teachers, and other staff, ensuring that the course runs smoothly from start to finish. The role also includes teaching, where you have the opportunity to inspire and motivate participants to take the next step in their studies or towards working life. Collaboration with colleagues is central, and you contribute ideas to develop the course content and methods, so that participants are given the best possible conditions for success.

The foundation of your work is always the interests of the folk high school and its fundamental values and goals. Working at a folk high school means working together with colleagues from all of the school's activities.
