Job Responsibilities

As a coordinator at Flexet, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our treatment work, our assignment descriptions, and the follow-up of ongoing interventions. You will coach, support, and guide youth therapists in their daily work and play a central role in developing the operations forward by identifying needs, creating opportunities, and contributing to improvement work.

You will be part of Platform Malmö's joint reception. In this role, you will receive and distribute incoming cases, provide guidance on methods and interventions, and have an important function in internal and external collaboration with other professional actors.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily operational work.
  • Ensure good quality, plan queues, and provide daily case support.
  • Coordinate joint activities and handle urgent requests.
  • Stay updated on current legislation and relevant research.
  • Conduct qualified assessments and participate in decisions together with the section manager.
  • Participate in cross-functional forums and introduce newly hired youth therapists.

Flexet operates from a systemic perspective where holistic and family perspectives are central to creating change. The target group is youth and young adults aged 10–21 who have been granted outpatient interventions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Degree in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or another equivalent higher education.
  • Extensive experience in psychosocial change work with youth exhibiting socially destructive behavior.
  • Experience in collaboration with schools, social services, police, leisure, and other relevant authorities.
  • Experience in coordinating roles within operations related to social work and the target group.
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as SoL, LVU, and OSL.
  • Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in working within HVB operations or institutions for the target group of youth.
  • Training in influence programs or conversation methodology, such as CBT, MI, ART, PULS, or rePULSE.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with health and lifestyle changes in the target group.
  • Experience in administrative work and working with governing documents and operational process flows.
  • Experience in treatment work directed at the target group.
  • Familiarity with documentation in Journal Digital, Procapita, or similar systems.
