Höglandsförbundet is a municipal federation formed by Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. These five municipalities, located in Småland, value cooperation and know that we are stronger together. By combining our strengths and resources, we can increase competence, better utilize resources, improve quality, and provide better service to our residents. Today, we have a variety of operations working for the benefit of the entire Höglandet.
One of the operations within Höglandsförbundet is Höglandsgymnasiet. Höglandsgymnasiet has schools in Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. In total, we have about 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in the workforce or for further studies.
Do you have a passion for developing young people's learning and future? Are you a confident and engaged adult who easily builds good relationships with students? Then this could be the position for you!
Your new job
We are looking for a vocational teacher for the child and leisure program at Njudungsgymnasiet. As a teacher, you work to create the best possible conditions for students to achieve their goals. You have a strong ability to build trust and good relationships in varied teaching. You prepare students for their APL (workplace learning), so it is important that you have a formative approach and vary theoretical presentations with practical, reality-based moments. The role also includes making APL visits.
With us, you will work in a knowledgeable and engaged program team that works closely with students and student health. Collaboration and co-planning occur continuously with colleagues, work teams, and the entire school, as we strive for a holistic view of students' knowledge development and needs.
About you
We are looking for someone who is a qualified vocational teacher for the child and leisure program in combination with another subject such as mathematics, Swedish, English, or modern languages. The employment rate for the position is based on your combination of subjects.
As a person, you are solution-focused, cooperative, value quality, and can create a positive atmosphere at work, both as an educator, a colleague in your subject and program team, and school management. You are also confident, stable, and have good knowledge of the childcare sector and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are genuinely interested in people and passionate about building knowledge in others. Meeting each student from a relational perspective and having high, reasonable expectations for each individual are fundamental thoughts that are important to us.
You should be accustomed to working with ICT, as we work through digital learning platforms such as Haldor and Edlevo. You have a B driver's license.

With us, you will be part of an exciting journey of change together with Höglandsgymnasiet.

At Njudungsgymnasiet, there is a mix of theoretical and practical programs, contributing to an exciting and dynamic workplace.
