We are looking for an Emergency Coordinator
We are now looking for an emergency coordinator who has experience in emergency work and wants to help drive the work on crisis preparedness forward. Do you want to work on tasks that ensure we contribute to making Sweden and the world safer? Then you may be the one we are looking for.
About the position
As an emergency coordinator, you will have a central role in the staff in developing our ability to handle societal disturbances and crises. In this role, you will serve as an advisory and supportive resource to the Army Materiel area and its departments in the work of developing and implementing emergency plans, as well as planning, conducting, and following up on emergency exercises and training within the framework of the emergency area. Together with a colleague, you will be the representatives of the Army Materiel area in the authority's emergency forum and support the work on supply security within FMV. The role also involves collaborating with both internal and external actors in the emergency area. You help create security and order by ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and authority guidelines. The position is based in Stockholm.
About you
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in, for example, military science, political science, crisis management, social sciences, or other relevant education, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have training in total defense and preparedness. To succeed in the role, you should have several years of current and relevant experience in emergency work and several years of relevant and current experience in interpreting and applying regulations. If you have previous relevant and current experience in analytical work in a similar role and/or experience from the Armed Forces or other government operations, we see it as an advantage. We view positively if you have experience in conducting training and exercises for groups. A fundamental requirement is that you have good knowledge of legislation and governing documents related to crisis preparedness. The position also requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
