An opportunity has arisen for a unique and central role at Bokförlaget Stolpe, a dynamic publishing house with a prominent position in the industry. As the right hand of the CEO and the Editorial Manager, you will be part of an inspiring and culturally rich environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Academic Work is seeking an Executive Assistant on behalf of our client. The assignment is full-time with an immediate start and initially lasts six months, with very good chances of extension as the ambition is long-term, provided all parties are satisfied.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities
In the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide strategic and operational support with full oversight of the publishing house – always one step ahead. You will act as the CEO's right hand, responsible for the calendar, meeting bookings, travel, and preparations for meetings, seminars, salons, book fairs, and events. You will ensure that the CEO is well-briefed for every context and accompany them as support in external and internal activities. At the same time, you will support the Editorial Manager with full insight into the editorial work. Here, you will step in where needed – from presentations and calculations to practical coordination in daily operations.
The role also involves:
- Compiling and quality-assuring board materials
- Participating selectively in management, marketing, and editorial meetings with a high level of detail and follow-up
- Being a central contact person internally and externally
- Coordinating contacts and calendars with key personnel and colleagues
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as it is used in daily work
- Have good data and system skills
- Have basic knowledge of the Office suite
It is advantageous if you:
- Have work experience in a similar role
- Have experience in an administrative and/or service-oriented role
