About the role

As a Business Controller, you will be a central part of the finance function and work closely with the CFO. The role combines analysis, monitoring, and development of financial processes in a company that is continuously scaling its operations. You will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence how financial management and reporting are shaped going forward.

The role is both operational and analytical, with a clear focus on data quality, transparency in monitoring, and creating relevant decision-making materials for the business.

Examples of tasks

• Work with ongoing financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting against budget, forecasts, and goals
• Quality assurance of monthly financial statements together with colleagues
• Prepare decision-making materials, analyses, and business cases for management and business leaders
• Compile and quality assure data from multiple systems and sources
• Contribute to the development of monitoring models, KPIs, and reporting structures
• Participate in budget and forecasting processes
• Identify improvement opportunities in financial processes and contribute to increased structure, automation, and scalability
• Support the business in financial and business-related questions

About you

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and business-oriented. You have a good ability to transform numbers and data into insights that create value for the business. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and communicate financial information in an educational manner to both economists and non-economists.

We believe you have:

• A degree in finance with good academic merits
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in controlling, analysis, auditing, or consulting
• Good understanding of accounting and financial flows
• Strong analytical skills and interest in systems, data, and process development
• Experience from growth companies, consulting environments, or auditing background is a plus
