Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 24 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. Quality Assurance, Decisions, and Communication

As a decision-maker, you decide on compensation within the benefits of Care Allowance and Additional Cost Compensation. Those who investigate individual cases within the relevant benefit provide proposals for decisions that you quality assure. The decisions have a significant impact on citizens' security and livelihood. Therefore, you ensure that the decision you make is legally secure and understandable for the insured. In your role, you contribute to providing individuals with the conditions to feel control and security in their contacts with Försäkringskassan. You communicate with insurance investigators both by phone and in writing. As a decision-maker, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

You stay updated on the current legal situation and collaborate with, in addition to those investigating individual cases, specialists and insurance medical advisors, among others. You actively contribute to ensuring that investigators and local managers have the right competence to meet citizens' needs.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • has worked in a government agency with qualified investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals.

It is advantageous if you

  • have good experience of effective handling with high quality
  • have good competence and expertise within the relevant benefits
  • have good administrative law knowledge and understanding
  • have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people.

Other Information

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Locations: Stockholm (Sundbyberg/Älvsjö), Östersund, Umeå, Luleå, or Gävle.
