The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, leisure centers, high schools, and adult education.

At Ekillaskolan, we emphasize every student's right to receive education at a level adapted to them. Ekillaskolan should be a place where all students and staff thrive and feel safe, and where students leave school with self-esteem and confidence – equipped for further studies and a good place in adult society. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a licensed and experienced music teacher who is passionate about making a difference. With us, you will have an important and meaningful role with responsibility and participation. You will be part of a daily routine where every student counts, and in your work, you will make a difference.

As a music teacher at Ekillaskolan, you will teach all our students in the subject of music, but you will also be active in collaboration with Sigtuna Kulturskola and the school's cultural classes, one in each grade. You are a bearer of culture and have significant responsibility in our traditions and productions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an education and teaching license in the subject of music for grades 7-9 as well as another subject. You have experience teaching music to high school students. We also want you to have some experience in arranging productions such as performances and the school's regular traditional presentations.

You are results-oriented and set high goals for yourself and your students. You see what is required for a good result and work purposefully to achieve it.

As a teacher and leader, you are creative and open, thinking outside the box, considering new approaches, and finding solutions in challenging situations. You work relationally and take active initiatives in various contexts, both in student groups and in collaboration with colleagues. You find it easy to create new relationships and collaborate. You have an inclusive approach and are committed to making a difference. You find win-win solutions and have an unpretentious focus on the students' best interests to achieve as much progress as possible, both in groups and individually.
