Kvarnbyskolan is a F - 6 school with about 310 students, including adapted primary school. The school is located in Rinkeby and has suitable facilities about 5 minutes from the subway. Kvarnbyskolan has a complete student health team and a staffed school library.
The adapted primary school is located within the primary school premises, and we work for inclusion based on all students' conditions. We have two focuses, subject areas, and subjects.

Your role, skills, and experience
We are looking for two special educators with a focus on and experience in adapted primary school. You are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching, as well as maintain associated student documentation.
We are looking for you who have a good, ethical approach towards students and colleagues, are driven, a good team player, and passionate about children's learning and development! You should be a good educator who constantly seeks new paths for learning and is knowledgeable about the adapted school's curriculum. You have patience, leadership, independence, flexibility, perseverance, goal orientation, joy in work, and professionalism.
Working as a teacher in an adapted primary school means unique and significant opportunities to influence and contribute to children's development. As a teacher, you contribute to a positive and developing environment with a good balance of care and learning - therefore, we place great importance on personal suitability. You have good collaboration skills and can create good relationships as the work involves many contact points with students, colleagues, and guardians.
Qualifications
You should:
- have a special educator's license with qualifications for subjects in adapted primary school grades 1-6
- have experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities and NPF
- have good knowledge of students within NPF and tools to create a good learning environment that is clear, predictable, positive, and enhances the sense of coherence.
- have a low-arousal approach
- have an inclusive attitude
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience with sign language support (TAKK)
- experience using visual support
