The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school programs, primary schools, high schools, and adapted primary and secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. The Position and Responsibilities

As a teacher, you play an important role in contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.

In your role, you will conduct teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of lessons as well as grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's collective work. You will contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in working groups, with a focus on students' knowledge development. You will also collaborate with other staff at the school. You will actively participate in the school's value-based work and work inclusively. You are committed to staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through monitoring the external environment, professional development, and collegial learning. Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts with students and classes, communication with guardians, absence management, and development discussions, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you will collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching. As an employee with us, you are an ambassador for the school by participating in open houses, fairs, etc.

Skogsback School is a K-9 school with approximately 450 students. As a teacher in Swedish and social studies, you will teach students in grade 4. The position is a temporary contract until June.
