Föräldrarkooperativet Junibacken in Akalla is looking for an experienced childcare worker who can start immediately. The position is hourly and part-time, with the possibility of varying working hours.

About the preschool

Junibacken is a small and personal parent cooperative located in a calm and safe environment in Akalla, with Järvafältet just around the corner. The preschool is situated in a condominium association and has a playground in a peaceful courtyard.

We strive for high staff density and close cooperation between educators, children, and guardians. Currently, the preschool has a principal, two preschool teachers, four childcare workers, and a chef.

The preschool has two departments: a small children's department with about 13 children and a large children's department with about 18 children.

Our educational focus

Nature and the environment are an essential part of our operations. With the rich nature of Järvafältet as our local environment, children regularly participate in activities and excursions where they learn to care for the environment and enjoy nature.

Our chef prepares varied, nutritious, and highly appreciated meals daily. We strive to purchase organic and fair trade products.

About the position

We are looking for someone who is a qualified childcare worker and/or has experience working in preschool. You are confident in your professional role, responsible, flexible, and have a warm and professional approach to children. You enjoy working in a smaller team with close collaboration.

The position is an hourly and part-time employment starting immediately.
