ABOUT THE POSITION

Working as a personal assistant is a fun and developing job! You get the chance to help a person live a life on the same terms as others as much as possible! You have the opportunity to get to know another person on a different level than you usually do, and also to get to know yourself in a different way!

You are offered a fun and varied job in terms of tasks and pace, no day is like the other!

The work involves being a personal assistant to a social, wheelchair-bound man in his 75s. Sports and woodworking are great interests, but also cooking, crafting, interior design, and plants at home.

The job includes everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities, etc. You help to carry out daily tasks together with the man, such as cooking, cleaning, walking, crafting, etc.

The workplace is in the man's home and wherever he is located.

The working hours are scheduled both during the day and in the evening, Monday to Sunday.

As you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected for your client, it is important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice if needed, due to illness or similar.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you who are applying for the position have a flexible and independent working style and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good documentation skills and maintain a professional attitude. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

Other qualities that are good for the job are a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.

It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.

Since we care about our clients' safety and security, we have a routine of obtaining extracts from the criminal record for all persons employed by the company. This means that we will request a record extract from you before you can start working.
