Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a young man in his 20s living in Haninge
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting
• Does not smoke during working hours

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Have experience with tube feeding
• Have experience with ventilators
• Have experience with cough machines
• Have experience with ceiling lifts
• Enjoy playing video and computer games

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". The positions involve work during the day every other weekend. You will work Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 14:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana:

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
