LS Electronics develops communication solutions that contribute to a safer and more secure society. Our customers operate in exciting industries such as police, ambulance, fire, airports, unmanned vessels, and are present in over 70 countries.

Our products are entirely in-house developed, and design, manufacturing, sales, and support are conducted from our office in Kista.

We have about 15 employees and are part of the Northcom group, which has a total of about 165 employees in the Nordic region, and we are seeing a strong increase in demand for our solutions.

Therefore, we are now looking for a Product Manager.

About the position

You will have overall responsibility for the development of our hardware and software and report to the company's CEO while working closely with the group's CPO.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for our product development process and the product lifecycle. You will lead our development team consisting of 6 people and take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and further development.

The work is varied, and here are some of your main tasks:

Product & roadmap

• Own and develop our product roadmap based on the company's strategy, customer insights, and backlog. • Ensure prioritization, quality, and delivery of new features and products.

Development leadership

• Lead the development team in daily work and be a clear link between technology, business, and customers. • Conduct sprint planning, requirements work, and technical reviews.

Launch & productization

• Responsible for product releases: documentation, certifications, testing, and sales and training materials. • Ensure productization: licenses, support levels, pricing structure, and recurring revenue.

Your qualifications

• Engineering degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar, with an understanding of both hardware and software. • Background as a Product Manager / Technical Product Owner, technical project manager, or system owner in an environment with embedded systems, firmware, and SaaS components. • Experience in critical communication, telecom, IoT, or industrial hardware and software systems is a plus. • Documented ability to drive products from requirements to release and commercialization. • Understanding of embedded systems, C++, and Delphi (not daily coding). • Strong communicator – can bridge the gap between Technology and Business. • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Personal qualities

To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous, analytical, structured, with a good ability to document and complete your work according to plan.

As LS Electronics is a smaller and expanding technology company, you need to feel comfortable working in a small and growing organization with a clear “hands-on” approach. An interest in technology is therefore a prerequisite.

It is also very important that you are adaptable and can handle changes in your work.
