The Neurology Department in Ystad is an inpatient department where we care for adult patients with neurological diseases and conditions, often with complex and varying care needs. The work is characterized by teamwork, close collaboration between different professions, and a shared focus on quality, patient safety, and continuous development.
The hospital in Ystad is an emergency hospital with operations around the clock and a broad mandate within both emergency and planned care. As a medium-sized hospital, we offer short decision-making paths, good collaboration, and the opportunity to influence both working methods and development in everyday life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing leader, you combine clinical work as a nurse with a developing and supportive role within nursing care. You have a key role in the organization and a significant leadership responsibility where you, in close collaboration with the unit manager, contribute to leading and developing the organization forward with a focus on high-quality care, patient safety, and a sustainable work environment.
Your responsibilities include supporting and guiding the team in daily work, acting as a mentor for new employees, and contributing to professional development through training initiatives, thematic meetings, and knowledge sharing. You work closely with other professionals such as doctors, nursing assistants, and paramedics to create good collaboration, structure, and a shared working method.
The role also involves identifying development needs within nursing care and contributing to improvement work based on the organization's goals and patients' needs. The position involves shift work, with a larger proportion of daytime hours and a somewhat lower degree of weekend work than usual.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you should have a specialist education. You have good language skills in Swedish, at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience in inpatient care or neurological care is an advantage.
As a person, you are calm, pedagogical, and structured while being flexible, unpretentious, and able to take initiative. You thrive in a role where you support others, share your knowledge, and contribute to development in everyday life. Personal suitability is of great importance.
In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today.
