Care Assistant at Dunkerska huset

Do you want to be part of something meaningful? As a care assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to combine care with efforts that make a difference every day. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to putting the tenants in focus. We look forward to your application!

About the workplace

In the residential area of Tågaborg, close to the city center, Pålsjö forest, and the sea, you will find the city's smallest nursing home - Dunkerska huset. Here, we have about 50 competent employees from various professional categories who make a difference for our 38 tenants every day.

What we offer

We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you will receive a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK per year. We apply a desired employment rate, which means that you decide how many percent you want to work.

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant, you will provide person-centered care and service to the tenants in a way that makes each individual feel unique and involved. Your duties include performing health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation, and you will take an active part in the overall care required for the tenants to achieve a good quality of life based on their individual circumstances. We work from the perspective of seeing the person, not the illness.

You will meet people with various illnesses and disabilities, and the work is about creating security for both tenants and their relatives. We support by providing help and assistance with personal hygiene, meal situations, as well as social activities and outdoor experiences.

Other tasks include documentation according to applicable legislation and case management.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position, you must have a care assistant education and previous experience working with and performing health and medical services.

Since communication and documentation are important parts of the operation, the job requires proficiency in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good computer and documentation skills.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in dementia care.

Your personal qualities are important to us

You who are applying are a good colleague with a positive attitude and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team. We appreciate your ability to have a solution-focused approach in your daily work.
