About us

Närhälsan Ekmanska healthcare center is a well-established unit located in a pleasant, geographically advantageous environment in the Örgryte district near central Gothenburg.

We have about 10,000 registered residents of various ages and over 30 employees. We have a regular healthcare center and offer child healthcare, asthma/COPD and diabetes clinics, hypertension clinic, skin clinic, menopause clinic, osteoporosis clinic, and elderly care, as well as a psychosocial/rehab team consisting of psychologists, rehab coordinators, doctors, and care coordinators for individuals with mental health issues.

Närhälsan has invested heavily in digiphysical working methods, and in October 2023, Närhälsan opened its first digiphysical healthcare center in Kallebäck. Ekmanska and Kallebäck have a close collaboration and a shared operations manager.

We work for good communication across professional boundaries and strive to utilize the massive knowledge that exists behind each employee. We actively work to develop the operations and have several ongoing improvement projects.

About the job

Your tasks at the healthcare center span a wide field and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous education of ten days per year.

About you

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in the field of general medicine with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good demeanor. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
