Work Environment Expert at Lidl
We are over 5000 engaged food heroes working in our Swedish stores, warehouses, and offices – together making our fantastic journey possible.
We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for our work environment efforts and has a strong commitment to employee well-being. With us, you will have a central role where you contribute to further developing Lidl as a modern, inclusive, and responsible employer.
Your Role
As our internal expert in work environment, you combine a broad understanding of work environment legislation with the ability to implement it in practice. You have overall responsibility for our systematic work environment efforts, where you design, ensure, and further develop everything from policies and guidelines to workplace dialogues and our OSA concept. Our health-promoting concept “Feel Good at Lidl” is also part of your role, where you drive health-promoting measures for our employees.
In addition to the strategic work, you provide expert support to our managers and other departments. You help organize and analyze our rehabilitation work and conduct training on issues related to work environment, health, and rehabilitation. You are also the contact person for our occupational health service.
In total, you have about 60 HR colleagues in Sweden, and your closest colleagues are in a team responsible for labor law, work environment, and HR compliance. You also collaborate with our experts in physical work environment, whose focus is on issues related to forklifts and protective equipment. In your role, you report to the labor law team leader.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you are a proactive person with an academic degree in human resources, law, or similar. You have the ability to think strategically and translate complex frameworks and legislation (AML, OSA regulations, SAM) into concrete national action plans and operational measures.
You have experience leading HR projects and feel confident in the role of management support. You thrive in a dynamic work environment, are motivated to make a real difference in the work environment, and have previously driven and implemented work environment measures. For you, a good work environment is not just a legal obligation but a fundamental success factor. Experience or a strong interest in laws and compliance culture related to HR issues is an advantage. Since we operate in an international context, you are comfortable using both Swedish and English as working languages, and knowledge of German is a plus.
We Offer
For us, it is important that our employees thrive - in every way. Therefore, we offer a job in an environment characterized by our values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. As we grow, you can grow. Quickly. Within your role or towards another. In the same place or somewhere else. In stores, warehouses, offices. Locally, nationally, or globally. We support you on your journey towards more responsibility and new challenges.
You will be part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps each other. Sometimes you will find us at our state-of-the-art headquarters, where we have access to a gym and great discounted prices in the restaurant. But of course, we are also a flexible workplace with the possibility of hybrid work. You receive everything from wellness grants, parental leave supplements, and employee discounts in our stores to free advice from psychologists, lawyers, and economists, as well as a wealth of offers through our benefits portal. Of course, you are also covered by a collective agreement and occupational pension. We enable fair salary setting within the company through a non-discriminatory salary system. For union-related questions, please contact Unionen's local union club via the email address [email protected].
