About the assignment

At Novare Bemanning, we are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. This means that we constantly receive services from authorities seeking skilled Controllers, just like in this case. As an employee at the authority, you will both give and receive valuable knowledge within the organization and contribute to society at large. We are here to create the best possible conditions for your application to meet the demands from our authorities.

Examples of tasks:
• Advice and support in budgeting for financing applications.
• Ongoing project accounting and financial follow-up of projects.
• Reporting to funders in accordance with agreements.
• Conduct month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings according to set timelines and guidelines.

Requirements for the position
- High school or equivalent education
- Completed education in the relevant field
- At least 3 years of work experience as a controller
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Knowledge of analysis tools e.g., QlikView or Insight
- Knowledge of financial systems Unit4 Agresso
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in public accounting
- Experience in financial work related to research-funded projects at government authorities, universities, or other research environments
- Experience working with budgeting and forecasting for grant-funded projects at government authorities, universities, or other research environments
- Experience working with EU-funded projects including reporting at government authorities, universities, or other research environments
- Experience in reporting to funders in accordance with agreements
- Experience working in the HR system HR-plus Visma
- Ability to provide two references from the last 3 years on similar assignments

The assignment is 100% and is for the period from February 1 or as soon as possible until October 31, 2026, at the authority in central Stockholm. The assignment may be extended.
