WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

As a market analyst in the Front Office, you will closely follow the financial markets. You will analyze developments in Sweden and internationally with a focus on the interest rate and foreign exchange markets. Your work will include continuously reporting on market developments to other parts of the bank in the form of daily market letters. You will also contribute to the unit's other work in market analysis, both in writing and with oral presentations for management. An important task is also to provide market information to the foreign exchange reserve management.

YOUR TEAM

The Front Office in the Markets Department consists of 10 people and is responsible for implementing the Riksbank's monetary policy and other policy measures. The Front Office also manages the Riksbank's foreign exchange reserves and is responsible for market-related analysis at the Riksbank.

MORE ABOUT YOU

You have a university degree in economics and experience working with financial market analysis, and you are a proficient user of Bloomberg. You have good knowledge of the Swedish and international interest rate and foreign exchange markets. You write and present your analysis in an educational manner in both Swedish and English. You have programming skills and an interest in solving tasks with Python. We consider it a merit if you have experience working in a government agency, preferably at a central bank.

As a person, you are self-driven, take initiative, and have a holistic view that allows you to understand and prioritize what is important. You are calm, stable, and can maintain focus even in stressful situations. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and take pride in always doing your best and taking responsibility for delivering your tasks on time.

Start date: By agreement
Employment type: Temporary until May 31, 2027
Location: Head Office Stockholm
Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week

The position may be classified in a security class, and a security review including a background check, security interview, and special personal investigation will be conducted for the final candidate. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
