At KPMG Sweden, we are now looking for two senior business controllers who will be key players in how we plan, measure, and manage the company through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision support.

KPMG Accounting & Control

KPMG's internal finance department is on an exciting journey. A merger has made the team larger, and we have recently transitioned parts of the accounting from an external provider to a subsidiary, to mention a few ongoing projects. Now we need to cover upcoming parental leaves and secondments and are looking for two senior business controllers for interim assignments of 6–9 months starting as soon as possible. The roles support our business areas Advisory, Tax & Legal, and Clients & Markets. We believe that you, as an applicant, are a skilled business partner who enjoys close collaboration with the management team as well as various teams and stakeholders in the organization. In this crucial role, you will help shape how we plan, measure, and manage the business – influencing everything from budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting and acting as strategic decision support.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor results against the plan, identify risks, and recommend concrete solutions
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes within your area of responsibility
• Drive automation and quality improvements within forecasting, reporting, and other financial processes
• Cost control
• Maintain high quality for financial data, cost allocation, and internal controls
• Support strategic decisions through scenario analyses and business cases
• Build financial models
• Conduct market and customer analyses and participate in any M&A activities

We are looking for someone who

• Has a higher education in finance and at least 7 years of experience in similar roles
• Has strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
• Has excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate data into action
• Is a strategic thinker who sees the big picture and contributes to long-term planning
• Is skilled in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting and has the ability to gain the trust of management
• Is fluent in Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience in leading or supporting financial transformation initiatives, particularly in AI and automation
• Practical experience using SQL for data analysis and financial reporting
• Background from consulting firms or partner-driven businesses
• Experience in developing advanced reports in Power BI
