About the role

As the AML Manager for Surveillance at Northmill Bank, you will lead our AML Surveillance team and ensure that the bank maintains high standards in anti-money laundering (AML/CTF). You will be responsible for driving the team's daily work, monitoring KPIs and goals, and developing the team's working methods to meet regulatory requirements and the bank's risk profile.

In this role, you will also serve as an expert support within AML Surveillance for other parts of the bank and participate in investigations, risk assessments, and external inquiries.

• Lead and develop the AML Surveillance team, including performance monitoring, skills development, and quality.

• Ensure that the team's work complies with AML/CTF regulations, internal policies, and Northmill's risk framework.

• Plan and prioritize operational work within transaction monitoring, investigations, and external inquiries.

• Contribute an AML perspective in the development of products and processes within the bank.

• Report the team's performance and KPIs to management.

• Make operational decisions regarding customer relationships within the bank's risk profile.

Your background

• Experience in AML/CTF work, preferably in transaction monitoring or a similar function.

• Previous experience leading and developing teams.

• Good understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in banking operations.

• Structured, communicative, and able to make decisions within defined frameworks.

• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
