We are now filling a new position; Learning & Development Specialist in the education function.

The education function at SOS Alarm is on an exciting development journey and is now strengthening its contribution to the organization's long-term competence development. We are looking for an experienced and committed Learning & Development Specialist who wants to be part of our development journey and make a difference for the organization and our strategic goals.

Your everyday life as a Learning & Development Specialist

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you are responsible for designing, developing, and following up on training and other competence development initiatives based on the organization's short- and long-term needs. You work closely with managers in the organization, HR Business Partners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to capture needs and translate them into pedagogically well-thought-out, engaging, and sustainable learning solutions. The focus is on both physical and digital competence development initiatives tailored for different target groups and learning in both everyday work and specific training.

You are part of the Education function and collaborate closely with other roles within the team; Education Manager, Learning Designer, Education Coordinator, and Educator. The role involves both strategic and operational work – from analysis and design to implementation, follow-up, and impact measurement. You also select and coordinate external suppliers and partners in close collaboration with Procurement.

Your mission is to ensure that our competence development initiatives maintain high quality, are based on proven learning theory, and contribute to strengthening the organization's capacity, both in the short and long term. You actively contribute to further developing the Education function's working methods, approaches, and quality work, with the opportunity to initiate and establish new working methods and structures.

We are looking for someone who has
  • A university degree in pedagogy, educational science, communication, or equivalent

  • At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development and experience in designing and implementing learning programs

  • Good knowledge of learning platforms, e-learning tools, and digital learning environments

  • Experience in project management and driving initiatives independently

  • Experience working closely with managers and other stakeholders, and the ability to build trust through clear communication and a professional approach.

Experience in implementing leadership and employee development programs, as well as knowledge of UX for learning, AI, mass training, and personalized learning is highly meritorious.

As a person, you are communicative, relationship-building, and structured. You have an analytical approach, are curious about new solutions, methods, and technology, and have the ability to translate strategy and needs into concrete and effective solutions.

We offer you

As an employee at SOS Alarm, we see your well-being as a focus area, and we know that a balance between work and private life is crucial for a sustainable and meaningful work life. Therefore, as an employee, you have the following employment conditions and benefits:

  • Health care allowance of 5000 SEK

  • SOS Health - a health initiative where you have the opportunity to participate in joint activities and runs with your colleagues. The purpose is to strengthen our health and camaraderie.

  • 30 days of vacation

  • Paid bridging days and reduced working hours

  • Collective agreement and occupational pension according to ITP

  • SOS Campus - a learning library for continuous learning and competence development

  • Hybrid work

With us, you become part of a culture where the values are more than just words – they shape how we act every day. We take responsibility, we are professional, we show care and we collaborate. We are looking for someone who shares these values and wants to be part of a context where we develop together and create safety in society. With us, you do not just have a job – you contribute to a safer Sweden for everyone, every day.
