The functional support area is responsible for the social administration's efforts for individuals with disabilities in accordance with LSS and SoL. Within the area, there is a regulatory unit, nine residences with special services, daily activities, housing support, personal assistance, escort and respite services, an open meeting place, and a short-term residence for both children and adults.
Job Description

The services - Daily activities, group homes, service housing, and short-term stays cater to individuals with various disabilities and ages. The support we provide to each individual is tailored to each person's needs and wishes. The tasks vary depending on which service you are offered employment in.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:
- be calm and secure as a person and have the ability to work in the best interest of our users - we place great importance on your personal suitability
- contribute to good collaboration with colleagues but also be able to work independently
- have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and be computer literate
- be at least 18 years old.
We would like you to have experience working with individuals with disabilities and an understanding of the challenges a disability can entail, but this is not a requirement.
A driver's license (B) is required for some roles.

How to get to Ekerö municipality
To work at Ekerö municipality within the functional support area, you must present an extract (HVB) from the police's criminal record along with valid photo identification before employment. You can request the extract on the police's website. The extract should not be older than six months from the date of issue.
