About Us Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center. We assist patients with acquired and congenital spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and neurological injuries and diseases. We also offer personal assistance. We are located in a large, beautiful building in Frösundavik, Solna, a combination of old barracks, new living quarters, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. We have extensive research and educational activities and a well-developed team collaboration. We also have a clinic with a focus on MS in Liljeholmen. Aleris Rehab Station is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care units, Basic Home Care, and Uppsala Närakut.

The Role We are looking for a personal assistant for a woman in her 60s with an acquired brain injury, aphasia, who uses a wheelchair. As a personal assistant, you will support and help her realize her interests, such as interior design, gardening, walks in nature, and accompanying her to a summer house on Gotland between July 13th and August 7th.

Job duties also include personal care, dressing and undressing, and transfers (a lift is available in the home). You will also accompany her on various outings. You need to be able to handle a computer.

You must also master the Swedish language, as communication takes place via an alphabet board. Working hours will be during the day, evening, and weekends. No night shifts are required. You will attend 3–4 introductory sessions with the client.

About You We are looking for someone who is structured, orderly, loyal, and attentive. You also value providing high-quality care and service. Through your engagement, professional approach, and communication skills, you create good relationships with the client and your colleagues, making you a significant employee for us. It is important that you act with common sense and have a strong customer focus. You need to have a well-developed sense of touch and understand when to be active and when to be passive in your work. You need to be able to communicate clearly and be unpretentious, prioritizing the client's needs/space, as well as being able to handle a family with daily chores. Previous experience in the personal assistance profession is an asset.

Background You are a person with a great interest in working with people. This role requires previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or within healthcare and social services. A requirement for this position is that you master the Swedish language very well, both spoken and written. We prefer that you are initiative-driven and have a motivating working style towards the client. We would like you to have "green thumbs" and enjoy gardening, planting, and other various garden tasks. An interest in art/culture is also a plus. It is an asset if you can also work at the summer house on Gotland between July 13th and August 7th.

Employment Terms Employment type: Hourly contract/Fixed schedule slot. Scope: Part-time, 09:00–16:00 and 12:00–20:00, approx. 3–4 days a week. Start date: Immediate. Salary: Individual salary setting. Collective agreement applies.
